A bit of a challenge for the second ganged turnout control

Due to tight spacing, both near the edge of the layout and with regard to other controls, the second ganged turnout control setup required a little creative thinking.

Again, this arrangement is to allow two turnouts to be controlled by a single cable.

As seen here, each of the turnouts are close to the right edge and so the main control units are mounted remote from each.  But, unlike the usual horizontal remote arrangements that I used earlier, I didn't want these to have a reversing affect so I connected each with the wire such that the remote units moves in the same direction as the main control unit.   The lower control is yet to be connected up to a panel that will be installed just to the right of this remote unit.

It is a bit easier to see what I'm saying about the wire arrangement with the image seen below.  The wire is bent in such a way to allow some flexing such that the one inch travel of the main control does not overwhelm the lessor movement of the remote unit.

Note the two holes that lead to two other turnouts that need to be controlled with vertically mounted control units.  The control wire for this remote setup is situated right in-between and should not interfere with the other units once they are installed.

Only five more turnout controls to build and install, and of course the installation of the control cables for those as well.  The end of this phase of work is in sight!
