THe Canyon MOdule

Shortly after joining the Cascade-Z-Modelers group in 2005, the group decided to develop a set of Z-Bend Track modules so that we could collectively share our common interest in modeling and be a force in evangelizing Z-scaling at local train shows.

The Canyon Module was my first module and it was only after I completed the initial module framing structure that I realized how ambitious a project it was going to be!

The Central End Module

Joining the Canyon Module, the Central End Module will add an extensive freight and passenger service center.

THE FOREST END MODULE

Combined with the Canyon and Central End modules, this module will provide a complete standalone module layout.

ZTM-440™ Modules

Similar in concept to T-Trak-N modules, this is my version of a table-top mini-module layout system.

The P&W Railroad Layout

My P&W-RR home layout is being developed as my own humble way of honoring the late John Armstrong's contributions to model railroading, a number of those contributions having inspired some of the designs that I've worked over my long, albeit inconsistent, participation in the hobby.  I don't intend on using John's original layout name since it will not be entirely faithful to the published design and will simply use P&W-RR for now.

  • Style: Freelance Pacific Northwest
Continuous Loop with approximately 1.8 scale miles of mainline

  • Inspiration: John Armstrong's Piedmont & Western Railroad Design

  • Size: 48" x 66" - Fold-up design
