With the basic backdrop in place, now starting to make much more progress. Along the edge of the layout, I’m using more of the plywood to box in the layout. In this view, the edge that meets up with the backdrop needed to be a bit more interesting and include an access panel since some portions of the track in that section will be completely inside the hills.
I’m using my typical method of pink foam and plaster cloth to make the basic land forms.
