Revisiting my concerns regarding the passenger-side turnouts

Following the National Train Show, I took a break from working on modules to try out my hand at building up Fast Tracks turnouts.  From this I learned a lot about the critical aspects of improving turnout operation and returned to solving my concerns about the troublesome turnouts on the Central End module.

I'll get more into my experience with Fast Tracks turnout building in future posts.  After making up a few trial turnouts where I spent a fair amount of time learning the ways of forming decent points and frogs, I decided to see if I could possible improve the operation of the existing turnouts on the Central End module.

With some new files in hand, I found that I was able to clean up the routes through the frogs on the turnouts in question and discovered that one of the frogs was slightly misaligned.  Using filing, I was able to adjust the shape and smooth out the portion of the frog that apparently was catching some wheels and tripping up operations through the turnout.  The fixes seemed subtle but after cleaning everything up, I've been able to confirm that my three primary passenger trains seem to run well through all routes now and a reconfiguration of the turnouts leading into the passenger station doesn't seem necessary anymore.

With that concern now apparently addressed, it appears that I can now return to working on the scenic elements of the module.
