The canyon is taking shape with the addition of lots of foam. Not all of the layers are solid foam as I used ribs of foam in the middle of certain levels to hold up higher layers of foam while reducing weight.
You can now see where the taller, lower level waterfall is to be placed, and the upper falls is partial visable in the back. As needed, some of the foam will be cut away to make way for scenic features.
Also seen in these views are the approximate placement of the un-prepared mainline bridges. From the lowest canyon surface to the bottom of the arch bridges will be around 200 scale feet once completed.
With the addition of the foam held together with hot glue, the overall module structure certainly has stiffened up. I've made sure to add glue between the foam and wood braces where possible.
