More progress roughing in the landscape

While progress is quite slow at this point due to a focus on the ZTM-440™ module concept, the Forest End Module is starting to take a more defined shape.

At the right is a view looking back toward the connection to The Canyon Module where you can see already has plaster cloth, coloring and ground foam surfaces and some trees planted.

Now on the other side, looking into The Forest Module, that same first section of that mates with The Canyon Module is also starting to take shape including the installation of the first portal over the mainlines.

Making our way counterclockwise around from the first picture, the portions that have surfaces end. What is clear in this view is the use of Woodland Scenics foam product use to produce the grade for the branch line - at the point closer to the right, just about reached the highest level prior to heading over to the planned trestle bridge.

Again, following along the mainline counterclockwise, the underlying foam is visible in the area where a rock cliff is planned over a water feature.

Now reaching the turning back of the mainlines through a canyon that will feed the tunnel that comes out at the new portal seen earlier. The location of the trestle bridge for the branch line is visible, spanning the elevated sections of white foam and following some planning marks seen on the ground surface crossing the mainlines. The pen marks that are visible are at 14 scale foot spacing which resembles my plan for the separation between the trestle vertical bents.

And finally, a couple of views of the branch line making its way around to its final destination where a logging industry will be located. In the final view, also visible is the separate mini-loop branch line that will have a log train running on it when the layout is at shows.
