After struggling with finding a passenger station design that I felt was large enough to adequately fill the available space, I decided to kitbash the solution using two copies of the Archistories ‘Torrnstein’ station.
As you can see, I had already built up one of these kits and after doing so, I decided it was clearly too small for the large space on the module that I hoped to fill but I quickly realized that this design could readily be doubled up for a much more substantial structure.
Now, months later after building up that first station, I broke down and picked up two more kits to start the new project. Below is how I cut the two building bases together which resulted in some leftover base that I’ll use to add a side structure to the main station.
Here is the double station partially completed and you can see the side building that I intend to use to extend the station on one end to add a bit of irregularity to the overall shape.
